![]() It's not much, but it's definitely better than something like Fall Guys where every F2P player looked identical at launch. As well as the fact you get a bunch of characters to choose from. Definitely appreciate no p2w, which is a rarity with Korean games in my experience. A bit barebones at the moment as far as progression and game modes are concerned, but the core gameplay is fun. It is refreshing to have a game where pursuing the skill ceiling is purely through the gameplay mechanics. I have grown quite tired of having to keep up with a meta to be competitive in multiplayer games. I also very much appreciate that the depth there doesn't come from something like kart tuning or anything like that. Speed mode by contrast has way more depth than just "racing but no items" would make it seem. ![]() In item mode it doesn't even seem beneficial to drift, its just pick up and play easy fun. Smart stuff that keeps the game flowing.Īlso to your point about the skill ceiling, it seems really deliberate how they have separated out item mode and speed mode. I really appreciate some of the QoL features in there, such as if someone disconnects before a squad race starts, the match will just transition to a free for all race instead of either continuing as an unbalanced team race or booting everyone back to the lobby. Ahhhh, I wasn't considering the possibility that this was previously released in other territories, that makes a ton of sense and explains the polish.
